With a small group of up to 5 participants, this intimate Masterclass will help you master street photography and capture the city's essence—from its historic alleys to modern-day life. 8.30 am - Meet for an introduction, coffee, breakfast, and discussion about Street Photography at - The masterclass schedule has been set from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. . From medieval architecture to lively street scenes, this city offers endless inspiration. During our walks, you’ll learn how to capture candid moments, dramatic contrasts, and the story of the city through your lens. 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 𝘿𝙖𝙮 1: 𝙐𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙨 We’ll begin with coffee and a brief introduction, then hit the streets to focus on: 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙖 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨:Master settings and gear for street photography. 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩:Learn how to use natural and artificial light effectively. 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨: new ways to compose dynamic and powerful shots. 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚: the skill of photographing people in natural, candid moments. 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐: 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 On Day 2, we’ll push your creativity further: 𝘼𝙗𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩 & 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙮: on simplicity and the beauty of contrast. 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙮: to explore the city’s nightlife with low-light shooting techniques. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙖 𝙂𝙚𝙖𝙧: or mirrorless camera (full-frame recommended). 𝙇𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙨:I recommend using lenses such as the 24-70mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 70-200mm (full-frame equivalent) for flexibility across different scenes. 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨:Fully charged battery, empty memory card, comfortable shoes for walking. By the end of this Masterclass, you’ll have honed your street photography skills and gained a deeper appreciation for the stories that unfold on the streets of Edinburgh.

Cancellation Policy

To obtain a full refund of the ticket, the minimum limit is 20 days before the event. If there are reasons why the participant cannot arrive or other situations arise, the participant has the right to choose another available date in another workshop hosted by me (if the request is made less than seven days before the event). If I cannot make it to the event, the participants will receive a full refund of their tickets.
